A cat that dreams of creating children's clothing collections, a story of overcoming challenges that share the stage with the most exclusive workshops in Paris... This is THECATBRANDW, a new children's brand and the exciting project of fashion journalist Empar Prieto, who after a long career as director of women's magazines such as SModa or Woman, undertakes this new adventure in 2021 where to pour in knowledge and imagination. After years as a spectator on the best catwalks in the world, TCBW is the perfect vehicle to bring her vision in kids clothing, where the maximum freedom and comfort of the garments intermingle with a taste for high end details, good finishes and a minimal style with a twist
that takes the athleisure trend further.
VALUES
We believe in awareness for a more ethical fashion after years of frenetic and massive production that has saturated and damaged the planet. That's why we produce our small collections in an environmentally friendly way, with a local and handmade production. The organic cotton knit is our mainstay, we knit it in factories in the surrounding area taking advantage of the good know-how and the long tradition of the country's industries. We do not over saturate the production; in fact, if case of unavailability of a particular size or having sold out an item you liked, you can write to us and we will check out if it is possible to order it. Personalization and communication with customers and friends of the brand are a must for us. We only collaborate with workshops that work ethically, that's why the processes take time and we pay attention to details.
The future of fashion depends on making a more responsible use of it, by teaching it to our children we will help preserve a craft and a wonderful universe that, like few things, helps us to express ourselves to the world and develop our personality. Our clothes should not be something to use and throw away, that's why we choose quality pieces that provoke an emotion, helping children to enjoy and learn how to take care of them so that they last over time and even have a life beyond those of younger siblings or friends.

And if there's another thing we like, it's taking care of cats! That's why we contribute to improve the life of stray felines by partnering with protective entities that look after the welfare of these homeless animals.

Discover our particular story, where the personality of Wilbur, the brand's designer cat and Empar's family pet, inspires the image and the comic created by the illustrator and graphic designer Àngel Pérez. The storytelling behind Wilbur narrates it´s passion for fashion, the couturier's craft, the pursuit of dreams and being in solidarity with others less fortunate. Wilbur will periodically be sharing new adventures, and so, we invite you to visit us again, just to make sure you won't miss anything.

PURPOSE
We make caring and daring looks that help little ones feel good while defining themselves as individuals as they grow up. THECATBRANDW children love their independence and are curious about creative processes. Just like little felines, they want to explore without fear and have fun while learning to create their reality and self-affirmation.
